Mutual help is a counselling and rehabilitation service for individuals struggling to recover from events such as mental health disorders or anything else that has interrupted their lives. The services are directed to those that wish to improve their psychological and physical well being. Our counselling and rehabilitation services incorporate developmental strategies, cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness, meditation techniques, and dialectical behavioural strategies to help each individual manage and overcome the problems that they are facing. All services are individually tailored for each client and are provided in a compassionate and non-judgemental fashion.

Jamie McCarthy is a Registered Social Service Worker who specializes in Mental Health And Rehabilitation.

with an educational background in clinical behavioural sciences. For over 30 years she has worked with patients suffering from developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, alcohol and drug addiction, chronic pain, and mood disorders. Jamie continues to work in mental health as a private clinician for individuals with mental health concerns and chronic illnesses.

Jamie’s work has been inspired by Dr. G. Bartolucc’s life work. Dr Bartolucci had grace, compassion, idealisim, knowledge and insight. Jamie’s intent is to continue to work serving the needs of others. She will continue to work to sustain the richness of the therapeutic relationship between the client and clinician which Dr Bartolucci demonstrated throughout his years of prastising. His demeanour and leadership was one of openness and authenticity
